A Caribbean anemone in a dazzling range of colors that, unlike most anemones, settles where placed and rarely wanders. Hardy and forgiving, it anchors its foot in the sand or rock and accepts meaty foods; keep small corals out of reach of its stinging tentacles. Often sold as Epicystis crucifer.
