Coral Banded Shrimp

Stenopus hispidus

A bold, long-antennaed shrimp with coral bands that stands guard at its cave and makes an instant display piece. Not a true shrimp (it belongs to Stenopodidea): keep it singly or as a mated pair, as it will attack other crustaceans in its territory.
